Speciality Chemicals
Speciality Chemicals
Specialty chemicals (also called specialty or impact chemicals) are specialty chemicals that provide a wide range of effects that many other industries rely on. Some of the specialty chemical categories are adhesives, agrochemicals, cleaners, dyes, cosmetic additives, construction chemicals, elastomers, fragrances, food additives, fragrances, industrial gases, lubricants, paints, polymers, surfactants, and textile auxiliaries. Other industries such as automotive, aerospace, food, cosmetics, agriculture, manufacturing, and textiles rely heavily on such products.
Specialty chemicals are materials used according to their characteristics or functions. as a result, they are sometimes referred to as "effective action" chemicals or "formulation" chemicals in addition to "impact" chemicals. These may be unique molecules or mixtures of molecules, known as compounds. The physical and chemical properties of individual molecules or compound mixtures of molecules and the composition of the mixtures affect the characteristics of the final product. In commercial applications, companies supplying these products often provide targeted customer service for innovative, customized technical solutions for their customers. This is a differentiated component of the services provided by specialty chemicals manufacturers compared to other sub-sectors of the chemical industry such as fine chemicals, commodity chemicals, petrochemicals and pharmaceuticals.
