The Turkish chemical industry mainly consists of facilities where various chemical raw materials and consumption products such as petrochemicals, soap, detergent, fertilizer, medicine, paint-varnish, synthetic fiber, soda are produced. Firms operating in the sector differ in terms of scale and capital resources. While a significant part of the companies operating in the sector consists of small and medium-sized enterprises, large-scale companies and multinational companies also operate.
